10 Principles for Peace of Mind

1. Do Not Interfere In Others’ Business Unless Asked:

Most of us create our own problems by interfering too often in others’ affairs. We do so because somehow we have convinced ourselves that our way is the best way, our logic is the perfect logic and those who do not conform to our thinking must be criticized and steered to the right direction, our direction. This thinking denies the existence of individuality and consequently the existence of God.. God has created each one of us in a unique way. No two human beings can think or act in exactly the same way. All men or women act the way they do because God within them prompts them that way. Mind your own business and you will keep your peace.

2. Forgive And Forget:

This is the most powerful aid to peace of mind. We often develop ill feelings inside our heart for the person who insults us or harms us. We nurture grievances. This in turn results in loss of sleep, development of stomach ulcers, and high blood pressure. This insult or injury was done once, but nourishing of grievance goes on forever by constantly remembering it. Get over this bad habit. Life is too short to waste in such trifles. Forgive,20Forget, and march on. Love flourishes in giving and forgiving.

3. Do Not Crave For Recognition:

This world is full of selfish people. They seldom praise anybody without selfish motives. They may praise you today because you are in power, but no sooner than you are powerless, they will forget your achievement and will start finding faults in you. Why do you wish to kill yours if in striving for their recognition? Their recognition is not worth the aggravation. Do your duties ethically and sincerely.

4. Do Not Be Jealous:

We all have experienced how jealousy can disturb our peace of mind. You know that you work harder than your colleagues in the office, but sometimes they get promotions; you do not. You started a business several years ago, but you are not as successful as your neighbor whose business is only one year old. There are several examples like these in everyday life. Should you be jealous? No. Remember everybody’s life is shaped by his/her destiny, which has now become his/her reality. If you are destined to be rich, nothing in the world can stop you. If you are not so destined, no one can help you either. Nothing will be gained by blaming others for your misfortune. Jealousy will not get you anywhere; it will only take away your peace of mind.

5. Change Yourself According To The Environment:

If you try to change the environment single-handedly, the chances are you will fail. Instead, change yourself to suit your environment. As you do this, even the environment, which has been unfriendly to you, will mysteriously change and seem congenial and harmonious.

6. Endure What Cannot Be Cured:

This is the best way to turn a disadvantage into an advantage. Every day we face numerous inconveniences, ailments, irritations, and accidents that are beyond our control. If we cannot control them or change them, we must learn to put up with these things. We must learn to endure them cheerfully. Believe in yourself and you will gain in terms of patience, inner strength and will power.

7. Do Not Bite Off More Than You Can Chew:

This maxim needs to be remembered constantly. We often tend to take more responsibilities than we are capable of carrying out. This is done to satisfy our ego. Know your limitations. . Why take on additional loads that may create more worries? You cannot gain peace of mind by expanding your external activities. Reduce your material engagements and spend time in prayer, introspection and meditation. This will reduce those thoughts in your mind that make you restless. Uncluttered mind will produce greater peace of mind.

8. Meditate Regularly:

Meditation calms the mind and gets rid of disturbing thoughts. This is the highest state of peace of mind. Try and experience it yourself. If you meditate earnestly for half an hour everyday, your mind will tend to become peaceful during the remaining twenty-three and half-hours. Your mind will not be easily disturbed as it was before. You would benefit by gradually increasing the period of daily meditation. You may think that this will interfere with your daily work. On the contrary, this will increase your efficiency and you will be able to produce better results in less time.

9. Never Leave The Mind Vacant:

An empty mind is the devil’s workshop. All evil actions start in the vacant mind. Keep your mind occupied in something positive, something worthwhile. Actively follow a hobby. Do something that holds your interest. You must decide what you value more: money or peace of mind. Your hobby, like social work or religious work, may not always earn you more money, but you will have a sense of fulfillment and achievement. Even when you are resting physically, occupy yourself in healthy reading or mental chanting of God’s name.

10. Do Not Procrastinate And Never Regret:

Do not waste time in protracted wondering ” Should I or shouldn’t I?” Days, weeks, months, and years may be wasted in that futile mental debating. You can never plan enough because you can never anticipate all future happenings. Value your time and do the things that need to be done. It does not matter if you fail the first time. You can learn from your mistakes and succeed the next time. Sitting back and worrying will lead to nothing. Learn from your mistakes, but do not brood over the past. DO NOT REGRET. Whatever happened was destined to happen only that way. Why cry over split milk?

5 Ways to Encourage Employee Excellence

Did you know, that the vast majority of small businesses are one-man shows? And, it's no wonder. Managing employees can be a challenge. You've undoubtedly heard many horror stories about late, rude, or lazy employees. But, just because those are the stories that get circulated, doesn't mean all (or even most) employees are inadequate.

Good management can sometimes mean the difference between having poor, satisfactory, and phenomenal employees. Here are some ideas for encouraging employee excellence:

1- Build a culture of productivity. From the moment you first interview a candidate, they should understand your expectations. Whether your culture is a high-stress, strict regime, or a laid back, go with the flow atmosphereĆ¢€?be sure your employees truly comprehend that you value and expect productivity.

2- Offer incentives. Even the most dedicated and self-motivated worker needs an external incentive on occasion. Think of an incentive (such as Employee of the Month, or additional bonuses) that you can consistently offer.

3- Have employees learn the mission statement. Make sure your staff is aware of the company's purpose. When the entire company is united in a common purpose, more work gets done.

4- Give your employees a chance to grow. Too many business owners are tempted to do it all themselves. Relinquish your tight hold on the company and give your employees a chance to solve problems, try new ideas, and put their own thoughts and ideas to the test.

5- Practice "lavish praise and quick corrections." One of my favorite books is The One-Minute Manager. You should read it. The essence of it is to catch people doing well and point it out to them. But you also have to quickly correct and reprimand when you see something outside of what you expect.

Whether you have 1 employee or 50, these suggestions will ensure a productive workplace and employee satisfaction.

Effectively Manage Your Business and Your Life

If you're like most business owners, you have more to do than time to do it. But too many entrepreneurs get so wrapped up in their companies, they forget to take care of the other aspects of their lives. And the results can be devastating! Families are neglected, friends are lost, and the physical and mental health of the small business owner declines. (Just to name a few.)

So here are some tips for being able to successfully manage your
company and your life:

• Automate your business- this was the topic of an email several weeks ago. If you haven't taken the time to realize the value of automation, do so soon. With your business on auto-pilot you have more time for other things.
• Put systems into place- mistakes are made when processes are not systematized. When processes are consistent, fewer mistakes are madeĆ¢€?and there are fewer fires to put out.
• Take a day off- despite the temptation to work a 7-day week, take at least one day for yourself. You will see your productivity and your health improve. (Not to mention how happy your family will be to see you.)
• Go home- set a time schedule for yourself. Schedule the number of hours you will work and stick to that plan.
• Set your priorities- there's always another crisis to solve. So be sure to make special occasions with friends and family a top priority. Don't allow a business "disaster" to hold you back. After all, there's bound to be another one tomorrow.
None of the stuff in this email is new to you. You know it all. But unless you are willing to take these suggestions to heart, you will never be able to effectively manage your life.

And remember, nobody ever lay on their deathbed wishing they had spent more time at the office!

What is Intelligence?

There are three main things regarding intelligence. Firstly, it is varied, we always take the world in different manners we live through it. We take it imaginary; we sense it in sound, we think about it in sensation of bodily motion. We take it conceptually and in movement as well. The next key point concerning intelligence is that it is full of life, self-motivated and active. By looking at the exchanges of a human mind, intelligence is marvelously communicating or collaborating. The intelligence is not separated by partitions. Actually, creativity is the method of possessing novel thoughts that contain worth, frequently occurs due to the contact of distinct punitive behaviors of considering effects. And the last point on the subject of intelligence is it is different.

The single anticipation for the future is to take on an innovative idea of human natural science, one in which we begin to rebuild our notion of the power of human competence. We should commemorate the present of the human mind's eye. At this time we ought to be cautious that this gift is brought into play intelligently. And the foremost work that should be done by our intelligence is that we should appreciate and search the creative capacities inside our children. The core work of our intelligence is to take care of our kids’ abilities and educate them in that manner which helps them keep their other creative knacks with education as well. Educating children in the finest way is the most important undertaking which helps them face the future. Intelligence is that dominant factor which facilitates us to comprehend our kids and make them do something great with their creativity.

Significance of Creativity in education!

There are three major ideas for human beings. Among those ideas one is the unusual indication of human inventiveness. The second is that we are put on those conditions that we don’t know what will be in the future. And the third is about children’s aptitude which is remarkable and no one has got such type of novelty in the capacities they have. But we don’t care about the incredible talents children have and we waste them without being aware of the fact.

Every one has interest in education because education gets us into future that we are unable to comprehend. Like religion and other issues, education is also very imperative for people and goes pressing with them. We do not know what will come next but it is education which can make us at least predict about. It is amazing!

And in education, creativity is also essential as literacy and should be considered equally. At present our education system is envisaged on the thought of educational knack due to the rationale that the entire method was invented around the world when there were no freely available methods of education truly prior to the 19th century. They all took form to come across the requirements of industrialism. Therefore, the chain of command is entrenched on two thoughts: first one is that the most valuable issues for work are at the highest point. Consequently, we were possibly guided gently away from things at school when we were a child, we could never get the job due the things we loved. And the next is studious knack, which has in reality amount to rule our idea of astuteness for the reason that the universities planned the organization in their picture. If you visualize it, the entire structure of public education worldwide is a prolonged route of academy entrance. And the result is that the extremely creative and talented people take it they are not because they were not appreciated at school times with those things at which they were remarkable, or was truly undesirable by the society. But this shouldn’t be happened.

This is inherited in kids’ nature that they always take chance. They are not scared of being erroneous. Being wrong and being creative are not equal. But if we are not ready to be wrong, we can never get something desirable or something else. And this approach is especially for children, when some kids get mature they mislaid that ability. They become worried of being incorrect. Currently the entire process of education is under our feet. We must thoroughly reorganize our vision of brainpower.

4 Stages of learning

Have you ever wondered why it becomes difficult sometimes, to understand a simple thing? It is because we often do not opt for the correct learning method and end up in frustration only. Today I am here to identify the four learning stages. If we understand them it can be quite easier to learn new things without ending up in frustration and anger.

1. UI= Unconscious Incompetence/ Don’t know what you don’t know:

UI is the first stage and it means that you do not know what you do not know. It is a form of blissful ignorance. Once you make mind to learn a new thing it this is the first stage that you face; where you come to know that you do not possess knowledge about what to know initially. Or in other words you realize very quickly that what you do not know!

2. CI= Conscience Incompetence/confusion:

This is the second stage of learning. At this stage your mind starts processing the new information in your brain. The new information is compared to the already present information in the brain. As a result you get confused. Now here it is important to point out that confusion is good in an ideal situation. But sometimes it may also result in generating frustration for some people. But it would always be better to stick with confusion as frustration can results in emotional and mentally thrown, where your thinking brain can shut off.

As you get confused you start asking questions and then you begin to put pieces together in some kind of order. And it is then; you enter the next stage of learning.

3. CC = Conscience competence/ask questions:

At this stage you become a competent learner. But you have to really concentrate to make it in a correct direction. It is now when you are concisely competent. And this eventually leads you to 4rth stage through practice.

4. UC= Unconscious competence/confidence, understand and apply:

In this stage all the information is fully integrated into your brain. It is now when you do not have to think about it if it is right or not. Your ability is now natural n unconscious, or what you can say is natural.

Best example, your car driving experience. In start, you face really difficulties to remember when gear need to change and keep remember car is in which gear. Checking through back and side minnors. Once you know how to drive you are driving along with calling over phone, change music and stuff...
